Employee Concerns Programs Manager

Establish and manage the Employee Concerns Program (ECP) that supports a Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE), and lead as the main ECP point of contact for the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Nawah. Direct and oversee investigations of employee issues and ECP activities at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) to ensure a healthy and inclusive working environment for all Nawah employees. Assess the strengths of the ECP and identify areas for improvement to ensure a fair, systematic approach to remediate issues and to ensure the ECP is aligned with industry standards and best practices. **Program Management and Improvement** **Responsibilities and Accountabilities**: - Manage the development and implementation of long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the ECP and Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) program. - Plan the delivery of the overall ECP and SCWE program and its activities to be in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization. - Verify that the ECP documentation are properly preserved and confidentiality maintained as appropriate to maintain anonymity. - Implement effective and efficient ECP initiatives and programs that contribute to achieving high operating standards. - Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the ECP and identify areas for improvement. - Interface with external organizations including World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO), Committee for Nuclear Power (CNP), Nuclear Safety Review Board (NSRB), National Association of Employee Concerns Professionals (NAECP) and others as required for assessments and auditing. **Investigations Management** **Responsibilities and Accountabilities**: - Oversee ECP activities to ensure intake of employee concerns are processed per ECP procedures and investigated in a thorough, timely, and professional manner. - Direct and oversee ECP formal investigations per ECP procedures, develop conclusions and provide briefings and written reports to Nuclear Oversight Director to align with requirements. **Trending and Reporting** **Responsibilities and Accountabilities**: - Review and approve all ECP and Integrated Issue Resolution Process (IIRP) monthly, quarterly and annual reports. - Ensure the establishment of a system to track each concern entered into the ECP and for day-to-day operation of the program to ensure systematic record retention and trending. - Review and draft trending, evaluation and analysis reports to the lead in the Nuclear Oversight Function to assess the performance of ECP implantation. - Implement lessons learned from investigations and improvements as necessary to ensure quality. - Analyze and provide periodic reports of ECP metrics to the Nuclear Safety Review Board (NSRB) and CNP to identify trends and key takeaways. **Communications Knowledge and Awareness** **Responsibilities and Accountabilities**: - Endorse the ECP through periodic communications and staff meetings to encourage staff to raise concern aiming at supporting a SCWE. - Ensure employee orientation and appropriate training are provided in accordance with organizational standards and conduct and oversee periodic "pulsing" of various functions to identify any emergent issues or potential trends. **Operational Planning** **Responsibilities and Accountabilities**: - Provide input into the development of the Division’s systems, processes and procedures, as well develop and implement the Department’s systems and processes, identifying potential areas of improvement to ensure efficient, effective, safe and risk-free operations as well as compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. - Monitor, control and report Operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the Department, to track performance and recommend corrective or mitigating actions. - Ensure that all relative reports are prepared timely and accurately, and meet the Department’s requirements and standards. **Health and Safety and Security** **Responsibilities and Accountabilities**: - Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the Division/Department/Section by the delivery of the Health and Safety Management Program to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality services and a responsible environmental attitude. - Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities. **Skills**: - Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Science, Art or relevant field. - 10 years of relevant experience, out of which: - 2 years in a Managerial role. **Job Details**: - Job Location- UAE- Job Role- Human Resources and Recruitment- Career Level- Mid Career- Years of Experience- Min: 10
