We have over 350 team members and over 100 Portfolio Managers/Traders/Sub-PMs with offices in London, Jersey, Edinburgh, New York, Austin, Chicago, Geneva, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Cayman Islands. As a crypto analyst for Brevan Howard Digital's fundamental long/short team, you would be working to underwrite liquid tokens. Most of your time will be spent on research and modelling.
You will be working within a small team focused on long/short fundamental liquid token investing. The team has worked together for a number of years within crypto. The team's approach is highly technical, both from the perspective of understanding protocols as well as building proprietary trading and data analytics to fuel investment decision making.
**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**:
**Functional Responsibilities**:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Conduct in-depth research and be able to communicate finding to the team clearly
- Generate reports and build models regularly
- Engage extensively with online crypto communities, forums, and social media platforms to stay informed about sentiment and discussions related to altcoins and emerging projects.
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality reports on a short deadline.
**Essential Capabilities**:
- Understanding of crypto and blockchain technologies.
- Understanding of markets and previous work in traditional markets preferred
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to code is a plus
