**Job Summary**: The Joinery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the joinery workshop. This role involves managing a team of skilled workers, ensuring production quality, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing workflow. The Joinery Supervisor will work closely with the Joinery Factory Manager to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of craftsmanship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Supervision**: Lead and manage a team of joiners, ensuring efficient work practices and high-quality output. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.
- **Production Planning**: Assist in planning and scheduling production tasks to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.
- **Safety Management**: Enforce safety protocols and procedures within the workshop, conducting safety training and ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- **Workflow Optimization**: Identify areas for improvement in processes and workflow, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- **Equipment Management**: Oversee the maintenance and operation of workshop equipment, ensuring it is safe and functioning correctly.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in managing inventory levels of materials and tools, ensuring availability while minimizing waste.
- **Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of production activities, employee performance, and quality control measures. Report any issues or concerns to the Joinery Factory Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an associate degree in woodworking or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in joinery or woodworking, with a background in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with CAD software and woodworking design tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

**Working Conditions**:

- May require working in shifts or overtime to meet production deadlines.
- Physical demands may include standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.
