**Responsibilities**:

- Provide tax advice and consulting to clients on a variety of matters, including direct and indirect taxes, VAT, and other relevant laws.
- Prepare and file tax returns for clients.
- Handle all tax administrative work for clients, such as tax registration, filing of returns, and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Advise clients on CT tax planning strategies.
- Communicate effectively with clients and tax authorities.
- Tax Query Management: Act as the primary contact point for the FTA portal and handle tax queries, complaints, and issues. Your ability to communicate effectively with tax authorities will be instrumental in resolving any concerns promptly.
- Portal Management: Take ownership of the Tax portal and keep it updated with registrations, deregistrations, and amendments of group tax credentials. Your attention to detail and timely follow-up will be vital for smooth interactions with tax authorities.
- Bilingual Correspondence: Be responsible for all Arabic/English correspondence with FTA, MOJ, and MOF, and maintain accurate documentation and records. Your proficiency in both languages will ensure effective communication and compliance.
- Voluntary Disclosures: Prepare and follow up on Voluntary Disclosures with FTA, demonstrating your commitment to transparency and adherence to tax regulations.
- Litigation Support: Assist the legal team in TDRC cases and other tax-related litigation, leveraging your expertise to strengthen our legal position.
- Tax Law Updates: Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, reviewing the Arabic versions and keeping the team informed. Your knowledge will be invaluable in ensuring compliance across the organization.
- Tax Returns and Documentation: Support the Tax team in preparing monthly/periodic tax returns and maintaining meticulous documentation.
- Clients' Bookkeeping: Provide expert bookkeeping support to our valued clients, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.
- Official Correspondence: Prepare official correspondence with tax authorities as per management advice, showcasing your professional communication skills.
- Reconciliation and Compliance: Assist the Tax Manager in reconciling tax accounts to ensure accurate reporting and identify potential compliance issues.
- Process Improvement: Take the initiative to identify areas for process improvement in tax compliance and provide well-founded recommendations to management.
- Interdepartmental Support: Extend support to other departments on tax-related matters, fostering collaboration across the organization.
- Ad Hoc Tax Projects: Assist the Tax Manager in various tax-related assignments, contributing your expertise to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualification “required”.
- 3+ years of experience in tax consulting.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in UAE.
- Corporate tax laws knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using accounting software and tools.
- Experience in handling clients' bookkeeping, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

**Salary**: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
