**Responsibilities**:

- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, computerized systems, and manual techniques to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
- Collaborate with the service team to discuss repair and maintenance options, providing clear explanations to customers and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Repair or replace faulty components, systems, and parts, following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Keep abreast of advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous learning and training opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.
- Document all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and detailed descriptions of repairs, in accordance with company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining repairs, and offering professional recommendations.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of automotive parts and supplies, and submit requisitions for needed materials.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; formal automotive training or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, with a minimum of [X] years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in vehicles.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, computerized systems, and repair manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Dedication to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of automotive trends, technologies, and repair techniques.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
