To assist in ensuring the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in the healthcare catering facility. The Junior HSE Officer supports compliance with local regulations, company policies, HACCP, ISO 22000, and hospital safety requirements to promote a safe and hygienic working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the daily monitoring of HSE activities in the kitchen, food service areas, and storage rooms.
- Conduct regular inspections and report unsafe acts, near misses, or hazards to the HSE Officer.
- Support the implementation and compliance of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Ensure all employees follow proper hygiene and safety procedures, including PPE usage and handwashing protocols.
- Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Monitor waste segregation, pest control, temperature logs, and cleaning schedules.
- Assist in maintaining HSE documentation and records for audits and inspections.
- Support accident/incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate and track staff HSE trainings and certifications (e.g., Food Safety Level 1/2).
- Ensure emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits are accessible and maintained.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certification in Food Safety Level 2 (minimum), HACCP Level 2 preferred.
- NEBOSH IGC (in progress or completed) is an advantage.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in healthcare or catering.
- Familiarity with UAE health and safety laws and regulations.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and hygiene standards for hospital kitchens.

Work Location - Sharjah

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
