Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Project Manager/ Planner for preparation of detailed programmes as per contract requirements.
- Productivity sheet for the Project with applicable software, Primavera /MS Project/SAP/ERP system and its full utilization knowledge.
- Coordinate with the Sr. planner for calculating the manpower requirements (trade wise, man hour wise) as per the defined productivity.
- Preparation of a weight system.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager / Planner for loading the manpower, major quantities, equipment supplies, construction program considering all engineering drawing schedule submission etc.., Weightage and cost over the activities of the Programme of work daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Preparation of the project’s measurement tools like S-curve, Tabular reports, histograms, and other KPI’s.
- Highlight the Critical path(s) and take the necessary actions with coordination of other Project key staff.
- MIS Reporting, Business Research & Analysis for respective business unit etc
- Review tender documents & costing.
- Support business planning & business modelling.
- EVA (Economic Value Added) Assessment of Capex/Opex Investments for Organic Growth Targets
- P&L Financial Ratio Analysis.
- MIS & Project Execution Milestones.
- Process Improvement and Change Management in Contract & Project Management, etc.
- Coordination with Business Unit and Business Line head and assist management in making monthly reports and various presentations for the board.
- Planning and coordination of weekly and monthly review meetings with all BU head.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Leading the coordination and follow-up between all stakeholders to ensure budget, schedule and technically aligned solutions are generated while project risks are identified and mitigated in good time.
- RFP analysis and development of pursuit strategy through the engagement of cross-functional teams composed of various operations canters, competency centres, suppliers, PMOs and SMEs.
- Managing the optimization of the technical, execution and contractual model of the proposal to arrive at the best solution based on product mix/cross BU/ and then presenting the proposition to management for approval.
- Driving customer and supplier negotiations - for optimum commercial closure and total stakeholder
- Coordinate with the Sr. planner/ Planner Assistant for issuing the subcontractor’s programmes with coordination of Procurement engineers.
- Highlighting the Area of Concerns to Planning Manager on Weekly Basis before issuance of the Weekly/ Monthly report.
- Coordinate with the Sr. planner/ Planner for forecasting the future problems and inform the Planning Manager to take the necessary actions.
- Monitor the manpower & equipment and make sure that they are correct as per Project/ Site conditions.
- Coordinate with the Sr. planner for updating the Projects cash flow.
- Coordinate with the Sr. planner/ Planner for preparation of Planning related correspondences to Client/ Engineer/ Sub-consultant/ Subcontractors/ and other parties.
- Attending the required meetings.
- Attending the required Audits.
- Preparation of Notices for EoT..
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or an MBA.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- SAP/ERP/MS Dynamics /Primavera software knowledge is mandatory.
