**Quantity Surveyor**

**Main Purpose of Job**:
We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.

To be successful as a quantity surveyor, you should have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills. Outstanding quantity surveyors are not only great at analyzing costs, but they also know how to read people and tailor their negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome.

**Main Responsibilities**

1. Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.

2. Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project

3. Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation

4. Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly

5. Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers

6. Select and/or source construction materials

7. Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.

8. Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.

9. Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.

12. Expediting Collections

13. Contractual letters

14. Coordination with engineer, client and project teams to ensure work execution and closure of pending works

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required**

1. Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.

2. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

3. Sound knowledge of construction.

4. Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.

6. A valid driver's license.

7. Great networking abilities.

8. Decision making ability and leadership skills

9. Time management and organization skills

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

**Experience**:

- Quantity Surveyor: 3 years (required)

License/Certification:

- UAE Drivers License (required)
