We are a celebrated restaurant and café situated in Marina Walk Dubai.

We require a head Chef who has demonstrated experience in Italian cuisines.

As a head Chef:

- You will be Controlling and directing the entire BOH and the food preparation process and all relative activities
- Menus with new or existing culinary creations
- Remedy any problems or defects
- Arrange repairs that are required
- Be fully in charge of managing and training kitchen staff
- Review, control & approve all daily paper duties, weekly schedules, wastage forms, attendance sheets of the kitchen.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Liaise with the purchasing department to ensure prompt and efficient purchasing, issuing of supplies, stock and inventory control.
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Make recommendations to the management for improvement.
- Make sure that food is prepared, labelled with shelf life properly and stored up to the standards and delivered according to the used record provided.

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as Chef
- Proven ability of kitchen management
- Up-to-date with culinary trends
- Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office and POS)
- Credentials in health and safety training
- Degree in Culinary science or related certificate will be desired
- Experience in Italian Kitchen, Arabic Kitchen and any other is required

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- 8 years (preferred)
- Head chef Italian cuisine 5 yeasrs (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Overnight Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
