Duties of a Pediatric Neurologist include the following:

- Provide general outpatient pediatric neurology for ACPN patients; interests in subspecialties are welcomed.
- Perform other relevant diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with other colleges and disciplines in ACPN and the community to better serve the patients and their families.
- Follow the North American guidelines in the field of Child Neurology, taking into account the local community considerations and needs.
- Always follow ACPN policies and procedures and attend ACPN staff meetings.
- Assist in educating the primary care physicians and community.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients depending on their medical conditions and current illness.

Job Title: Physiotherapist

Minimum Qualification, Experience & Skills

- BSc in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience post certification as Physiotherapist
- HAAD/DHA Valid License

Job Summary

Physiotherapists help people recover from injuries sustained from surgery, illness, ageing, or disability. They guide patients to improve their strength and movement and prevent further problems in the future.

Physiotherapists work to diagnose the causes of injury and put together a treatment plan, sometimes including exercises, manual therapy, and electrotherapy (using electrical energy as a medical treatment). They also advise on managing long-term conditions.

Main Responsibilities

- Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
- Helps patients accomplish treatment plans by administering manual exercises, instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily living activities.
- Administers physical therapy treatments by giving massages; initiating traction; applying physical agents; utilizing hydrotherapy tanks and whirlpool baths, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines; directing treatments given by aides, technicians, and assistants.
- Evaluates effects of physical therapy treatments and fit of prosthetic and orthotic devices by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress, recommending adjustments and modifications.
- Completes discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers, contributing to patient care conferences.
- Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs; recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending outpatient or home health follow-up programs.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects center's operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Develops physical therapy staff by providing information, developing, and conducting in-service training programs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Participates in research and educational conferences held by ACPN.

Job Title: Clinical Psychologist-Child and Adolescence

Minimum Qualification, Experience & Skills

- HAAD/DHA /MOH Valid License or eligibility to obtain the same.
- Master's degree in clinical psychology with practicum and internship/residency experience.
- At least 2 years post-master experience working as a licensed clinical psychologist.
- Licensed in country of origin (mandatory).

Job Summary

To provide specialist evidence-based psychological assessment, formulation, and therapy, and make autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice. Provide consultation and advice on psychological therapies to clients, their families, and non-psychology colleagues. To work with patients across the lifespan (adults and children, unless otherwise agreed).
