Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate physical rehabilitation needs for patients with injuries, disabilities, or chronic conditions
- Design personalized rehabilitation treatment plans based on medical history, functional limitations, and patient recovery goals
- Implement a range of rehabilitation therapies including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and electrotherapy modalities
- Monitor patient recovery progress and adjust treatment strategies to optimize rehabilitation outcomes
- Educate patients and families about rehabilitation programs, self-care practices, and long-term recovery strategies
- Coordinate patient care with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated rehabilitation services
- Supervise and mentor rehabilitation team members including therapists and technicians
- Participate in clinical audits, departmental improvement programs, and development of rehabilitation protocols
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with healthcare regulations and hospital standards Ideal Profile
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or equivalent recognized qualification
- Minimum five years of experience working as a consultant in rehabilitation medicine
- Strong clinical expertise in rehabilitation therapies and functional recovery strategies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to support patient-centered care
- Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare environments
- Fluency in English with Arabic language knowledge considered an advantage Skills Set
