Job Description
Freelance Opportunity | Software Engineer (Java / Spring Boot) – Abu Dhabi, UAE We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer for a 3-month freelance/contract assignment, starting November 2026, with a possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.

Abu Dhabi, UAE – On-site Duration: 3 months (November 2026 – January 2027) Employment Type: Freelance / Contract

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build secure APIs and integrate them with frontend applications and external systems.
- Contribute to full-stack development using Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Maintain code quality and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and Sonar.
- Manage deployments in Linux environments using Docker, Ansible, Bash, and SSH.
- Prepare technical documentation, unit tests, test plans, and release notes.
- Collaborate with agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Linux, databases, and SQL.
- Experience with Jira, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills in English.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Nice to Have
- Experience in real-time software, radio protocols, or wireless communications.
- Knowledge of Python, C, or C++.
- Familiarity with AI developer tools and experience in safety-critical systems.
- French and/or Arabic language skills.
