Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to play a key role in enhancing our web platform using the Angular technology stack.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product and design teams to understand user requirements and translate them into practical, high-quality technical solutions. Additionally, they will contribute to optimizing DevOps tooling to streamline development processes.

About the contract:

The role is hybrid in Cairo - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote. The role is a long-term (one-year renewable) contract position through Xenon7, which is the approved vendor of the client. The payments are paid out in gross amount in USD on a monthly schedule. The budget for the role is up to $4500/month.

Responsibilities:

1. Shaping and implementing technology/business solutions to contribute to client organization's competitive differentiation.
2. Uses various software development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance client organization's technology stack.
3. Collaborates with other team members to implement user stories, write tests, and continuously deliver new/improved product functionality.
4. Communicates with internal IT teams to resolve technical dependencies during implementation.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely support and ensuring minimal downtime.
6. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
7. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
8. Stay updated with the latest trends in digital banking to implement innovative solutions.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar, advanced degree preferred with an outstanding record of academic achievement.
2. 7+ years history of total Frontend development experience.
3. Well-versed, hands-on experience in Angular framework (DI, routing, Reactive, template driven, animation, AOT, content projection, lazy loading, guards, resolvers, state management, RxJS).
4. Excellent Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SVG, and deep internals of raw JavaScript.
5. Excellent Knowledge of responsive design frontend frameworks (bootstrap, foundation, etc.).
6. Knowledge of Node JS.
7. Knowledge of frontend design patterns (SOLID, micro frontend, module federation, scalable component).
8. Excellent knowledge of the ES6+.
9. Experience in engineering practices and clean coding such as UML, code refactoring, test-driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, and application security.
10. Hands-on experience in component testing using well-known frameworks (Cypress, Karma, Jasmine).
11. Experience in agile development methodologies.
12. Knowledge of cloud-native development (CI/CD, docker, NGINX, webpacks, environment configuration, Firebase, Azure DevOps, REST).
13. Fluency in English and/or Arabic.
