Job Description
As a Nokia CS Core Expert, you will be responsible for the administration, optimization, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of Nokia Circuit Switched (CS) Core and Cloud Core platforms. The role requires deep technical expertise across telecom core operations, upgrades, change management, and service continuity. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and vendor teams to ensure network stability, performance, and service availability. This position offers the opportunity to support cutting‐edge telecom transformation initiatives and contribute to major mobile network modernization programs across the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support Nokia CS Core and Cloud Core platformsPerform operations, maintenance, fault management, and troubleshooting activitiesExecute software upgrades, migrations, and change management initiativesMonitor network performance and ensure service availabilitySupport incident resolution and root cause analysis activitiesCoordinate with vendors and cross‐functional telecom teamsMaintain technical documentation and operational proceduresEnsure compliance with telecom operational standards and best practicesSupport network optimization and modernization projectsParticipate in planning, implementation, and operational readiness activitiesRequired Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related disciplineMinimum 10 years of hands‐on experience with Nokia CS Core technologiesMinimum 3 years of experience working with Nokia Cloud Core platformsStrong background in Back Office Operations, Care Operations, and Network OperationsExperience performing platform upgrades and software lifecycle managementKnowledge of telecom core network architecture and service assurance principlesStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExperience working in large telecom operator environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilitiesNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with VoLTE, IMS, EPC, or 5G Core technologiesKnowledge of virtualization and cloud‐native telecom environmentsExperience with Nokia Network Services Platform (NSP)Exposure to telecom automation and orchestration toolsPrevious Middle East telecom project experienceRecruitment Pro TipHighlight specific Nokia Core Network platforms you have managed, including system upgrades, migration projects, operational KPIs, network availability achievements, and Cloud Core deployments.
