Key Responsibilities
Lead the complete estimation process for utilities infrastructure projects from tender receipt to bid submission. Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract conditions. Prepare accurate cost estimates, pricing strategies, and commercial proposals. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, QS, and Operations teams to obtain technical and commercial inputs. Conduct quantity take-offs and validate BOQs. Obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers and evaluate commercial offers. Analyze project risks and opportunities during the bidding stage. Develop value engineering solutions to optimize project costs while maintaining quality. Prepare tender clarifications and participate in pre-bid meetings. Ensure compliance with client requirements and company estimation procedures. Maintain an updated cost database for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors. Present bid summaries and recommendations to senior management. Support negotiations with clients during post-tender discussions. Skillstendering and cost estimation
