QA/QC Mechanical Engineer MEP Quality Assurance Jobs in Dubai Location: Dubai United Arab Emirates Industry: MEP Contracting / High-Rise Building Projects Reports To: QA/QC Manager / Mechanical Project Lead Salary (tax-free): Based on experience About the Role A leading MEP contractor in Dubai is seeking a QA/QC Mechanical Engineer with a strong track record in high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, documenting and verifying mechanical installations ensuring full compliance with project specifications, quality procedures and authority approvals. Key Responsibilities - Perform QA/QC inspections of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems. - Review method statements, material submittals, shop drawings and ensure site works align with approved specs. - Generate and maintain Inspection Requests (IRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and quality records. - Coordinate with consultants, main contractors and internal project teams for snag closure and final handover. - Supervise pressure testing, flushing, chlorination and commissioning of mechanical systems. - Participate in authority inspections (DCD, DM, DEWA) and ensure compliance. - Track all QA/QC documentation and assist in preparing handover files and O&M manuals. Candidate Requirements - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (required). - 5 years of dedicated QA/QC experience on MEP high-rise projects in Dubai or wider UAE. - Familiarity with UAE authority procedures, codes and approval systems. - Must have completed at least 2 full-cycle mechanical MEP projects from start to handover. - Proficient in QA/QC documentation, ISO standards and quality systems. - Strong coordination, inspection and reporting capabilities. - Must be based in the UAE and available to provide salary slips or SOA prior to final interview. - Consistent employment history with reputable companies. - UAE experience is mandatory; Dubai-based candidates preferred.
