Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a high caliber and seasoned Three (3) Planners (Senior Level) to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in our newly awarded Oil & Gas project in the Abu Dhabi, UAE.

You will have the chance to get exposed to an international environment with complex, challenging Oil & Gas projects in the Middle East and be part of a dynamic EPC leader with global presence.

Role Summary:
Working closely with the Planning Manager and project team and leading a team of project planners, you will manage and oversee the planning and scheduling for an EPC Oil & Gas project and you will drive the corresponding reporting activities.

What you will need to do:

1. Prepare Contract Baseline Schedule and/or Revised Schedules in coordination with the Planning Manager and the project team.
2. Assist the Planning Manager at project start in the preparation of all reports and/or registers to assure the implementation of the following procedures:
3. Control of Planning & Scheduling
4. Progress Measurement
5. Reporting
6. Review the project(s) schedule(s) updates done by the planner(s) and liaise & coordinate with the different project teams in order to maintain proper progress recording and/or monitoring of the project(s) schedule(s).
7. In coordination with the Planning Manager, highlight to the Project's Management any deviation and/or delays from the approved plan.
8. Participate in coordination with the Planning Manager & the Project Controls Manager in the preparation of claims & extension of time.
9. Liaise and assist the Project Controls Manager in preparing weekly, monthly reports, budget preparation and maintains proper project planning records.
10. Participate in periodic Project team meetings to elaborate the project's schedule and the progress status.
11. Record any suggested changes and/or deviations from the plan and advise of its effect on the overall schedule.

What you will need to have:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, with preference to Mechanical discipline; Master degree in related areas will be highly welcomed.
2. A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Planner or in a relevant role for large-scale, complex projects. Previous experience with ADNOC projects is desirable.
3. Demonstrated in-depth experience in construction planning/scheduling, cost control and estimating.
4. Computer literacy, including use of MS Office and knowledge of Primavera (P3 or P6).
5. Very good command (written and oral) of the English language.
