Responsibilities
- Analyze local data sources in the Asia-Pacific region and synthesize findings into structured evidence sets for interactive communications and policy products
- Support assessment of programme needs related to Climate, Peace and Security (CPS) and Women, Peace and Security (WPS) communications
- Assist in the preparation of web-based interactive products and data visualization formats
- Apply data intelligence frameworks and mapping tools to support knowledge product development
- Facilitate virtual design workshops with women peacebuilders and civil society organizations
- Apply do-no-harm and anonymization protocols to ensure responsible handling of community-level data and testimonials
- Maintain up-to‑date knowledge of CPS‑WPS developments in the Asia‑Pacific region
- Collaborate with UN Women country-desk colleagues to validate content for cultural and political accuracy
- Support the coordination of subcontracted technical partners involved in data layer development
- Prepare briefing notes, background papers, data summaries, and story cards for policy dialogues
- Monitor and document the uptake and use of CPS‑WPS knowledge products Requirements
- Master's degree in social sciences, conflict studies, gender studies, international affairs, or a related field
- At least 2 years of professional experience in design, planning, monitoring, and evaluation of programmes related to WPS, CPS, or Data Management
- Experience creating web-based interactive products and data visualization formats
- Experience in programming and advocacy work with governments and civil society
- Excellent command of written English Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with UN Women or other UN agencies
- Experience in the Asia Pacific region
- Knowledge of another UN official language
