Key Responsibilities

- Manage acute and chronic eye diseases using evidence‑based treatment plans and long‑term patient monitoring

- Provide pre‑operative evaluations and post‑operative follow-up care for surgical patients
- Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, treatment options, and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinical standards
- Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives

- Board Certification in Ophthalmology is mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification Consultant‑level experience

- Eligible for or holding valid specialist licensing within GCC healthcare systems
