Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Music lessons aligned with IB curriculum frameworks
- Inspire students through performance, composition and music theory
- Support student participation in concerts, productions and school events
- Contribute to curriculum planning and assessment within the Music department
- Use data to monitor student progress and inform teaching strategies
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support cross‑curricular collaboration and interdisciplinary projects
- Promote intercultural understanding through diverse musical traditions
- Contribute to co‑curricular music activities and school‑wide initiatives Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Music or related field with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within IB programmes preferred
- Strong subject knowledge in performance, composition and theory
- Passion for developing creativity and student confidence
- Ability to work collaboratively within a high‑performing team
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Enhanced DBS or equivalent police clearance Skills Set
