About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at INEX Contracting and Interiors. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within a growing company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, a deep understanding of local regulations, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and oversee mechanical systems for various construction and interior projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with local regulations, including obtaining necessary certifications and approvals.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to monitor the progress and quality of work.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 4 years of experience working in the UAE.
- Must have completed the equivalency process for their engineering certificate in the UAE.
- UAE-based experience in the contracting or interior industry is highly preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design and engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in CAD and other relevant engineering software.
- In-depth understanding of local building codes and standards in the UAE.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

- Holding a practicing engineer's card issued by the Abu Dhabi Municipality is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in mechanical engineering.
