Responsibilities:
- Manage quantity surveying and commercial activities for high-rise building projects.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and budgets.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts and scope of work.
- Measure completed works and prepare interim payment applications/certificates.
- Prepare, evaluate and negotiate variations, claims and change orders.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and monthly cost reports.
- Prepare CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) and cost forecasts.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate subcontract packages.
- Review and certify subcontractor payment applications.
- Manage subcontractor accounts and prepare final accounts.
- Assist with tendering, procurement and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain proper contractual and commercial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project contracts, specifications and UAE construction practices. Mandatory
Requirements:
- 6+ years’ experience as a Civil Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong experience on high-rise building projects (15+ floors) is mandatory.
- UAE/Dubai construction experience strongly preferred.
- Currently based in Dubai/UAE & Immediate Joiners preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil/structural building works, including concrete, rebar, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, façade and finishes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Excellent Excel/MS Office skills; CostX, AutoCAD, Bluebeam or similar QS software is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
Salary:
AED 9,000–10,000/month, depending on experience and suitability.
