With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Commis I STAY Restaurant to join the One&Only team at The One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai.
With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resorts success and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships where he/she will be assigned to the tasks in accordance with the standard operating procedures as implemented by the Chef de Cuisine. He/she must ensure that proper hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen are followed and adequate stocks of food supply in the buffet counters. He /she also must display efficient inter department coordination and be involved in trainings. He/she will be assigned to and to show interest in displaying creativity in food displays. He/she must ensure that the standard procedures are followed and performed to the highest level of service.
Suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the Chef de Cuisine. He/she must be highly qualified and must have at least 1-2 years experience in an upscale luxury hospitality industry or five-star hotels. He/she must have a strong attention to details, flexibility, creativity and must be able to work under pressure. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English is a must and/or another language. Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.
