Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in Trading/Brokerage platforms, OMS, FIX Protocol and market connectivity. The candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, integrating and managing brokerage systems, preferably with exposure to TradeNet and regional stock exchanges. Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of brokerage platforms, from client onboarding to order execution and settlement.
- Integrate trading, risk management and compliance systems.
- Enhance market connectivity and ensure reliable, low-latency integration with regional exchanges.
- Handle platform upgrades, vendor coordination and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Agile activities, including sprint planning, backlog grooming and release management.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high availability.
- Develop and integrate RESTful services and real-time event-driven solutions. Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in Trading/Brokerage platforms.
- Experience with products such as TradeNet is preferred.
- Strong understanding of front-to-back brokerage system architecture.
- Expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS) and FIX Protocol.
- Knowledge of exchange connectivity, particularly DFM, ADX and Tadawul.
- Understanding of institutional equities workflows, including algorithmic, high-touch and low-touch trading.
- Hands-on experience with Java, C++, Node.js and React.js.
- Strong database knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Kafka, REST APIs and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Git and CI/CD pipelines. Pay range and compensation package Upto 24K AED
