5-8 years Employment: Full-time The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading specialist contractor in Dubai. The successful candidate will have a strong background across infrastructure, civils and/or piling, with proven experience delivering major projects within the UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to take responsibility for the successful delivery of technically challenging projects within a specialist foundation and infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned projects.
- Manage projects from mobilisation and planning through to completion and handover.
- Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors.
- Manage project programmes, resources, costs and commercial performance.
- Work closely with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, quality, health & safety and programme performance.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues throughout project delivery.
- Provide regular project reporting to senior management. Requirements
- 5-8 years' relevant experience within construction.
- Strong background in Infrastructure, Civils, Piling or Foundations.
- Proven UAE experience on major projects is essential.
- Previous experience in a Project Manager or equivalent project-delivery position.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project programmes and site operations.
- Experience managing subcontractors, resources and project stakeholders.
- Civil Engineering degree or relevant engineering qualification preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
