Overview Of The RoleThe Shopping Experience Team Leader is responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring a positive shopping experience while maintaining long‐term profitability. This role is key in establishing and retaining life‐long relationships with customers by aligning with IKEA s shopping methods and supporting the self‐serve concept. The leader will inspire and motivate the team leveraging product knowledge, market insights, and customer understanding to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. What You Will DoEnsure customer guidance is in place to promote easy customer flowMaintain waiting time and queuing policy as per benchmarkSupport co‐workers in resolving customer complaints quickly and positivelyEnsure co‐workers provide excellent customer service and acknowledge customersMotivate and inspire the team through knowledge of the IKEA product range, the local market, and IKEA customersCoach co‐workers supporting their training paths and developing

key responsibilities
Ensure all co‐workers are aware of sales targets, services, and expectationsEnsure the right number of co‐workers are in place to run the department successfullyFind more effective ways of working to reduce costsEnsure departmental SOPs are shared with co‐workersReceive, count and sign off cash float for the day from the Accounts DepartmentPrepare reconciliation documents at the end of the business day managing discrepanciesCollaborate with Finance to investigate discrepancies and ensure control on differencesOrganize cash and coins properly by denomination in the tillRequired Skills To Be SuccessfulProactivity in identifying and resolving issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem‐solving abilitiesLeadership skills to guide and motivate the teamWhat Qualifies You For The RoleHigh School education required3-4 years of experience in RetailMust have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood command of English language, with Arabic preferred
