We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Network Engineer NOC Manager Level 2 to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.

Job Description:

As a Network Engineer NOC Manager Level 2, you will oversee the daily operations of the Network Operations Center (NOC), ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficiency of our network infrastructure. You will lead a team of NOC engineers, manage network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement solutions to enhance network reliability. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and mentor a team of NOC engineers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
2. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to resolve technical challenges.
3. Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Network Monitoring and Management:

1. Oversee the monitoring of network performance, ensuring uptime, and identifying potential issues proactively.
2. Analyze network data and trends to optimize performance and prevent outages.
3. Ensure compliance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Troubleshooting and Incident Management:

1. Act as an escalation point for complex network issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution.
2. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement preventive measures.
3. Manage and resolve Trouble Tickets (TT) in a timely and efficient manner.

Network Design and Optimization:

1. Collaborate with the network architecture team to design and implement network improvements.
2. Optimize network configurations for performance, security, and scalability.
3. Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

Preventive and Corrective Maintenance:

1. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure network reliability.
2. Oversee corrective maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
2. Prepare and present regular reports on network performance, incidents, and team productivity.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

1. Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align network operations with business objectives.

Shift Management:

1. Manage shift schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage of NOC operations.
2. Be available for on-call support during critical incidents.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in network engineering and NOC operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
4. Hands-on experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet) and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
7. Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
8. Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
