Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons from Key Stage 1 onwards aligned with the British curriculum
- Develop student skills in performance, composition, theory, and music technology
- Integrate digital tools and emerging technologies into music instruction
- Foster creativity, collaboration, and interdisciplinary learning
- Organize school performances, concerts, and enrichment activities
- Monitor student progress and use assessment data to enhance learning outcomes
- Encourage participation in ensembles, choirs, and creative arts initiatives
- Contribute to extracurricular programmes and wider school events Ideal Profile
- Bachelor of Education or relevant degree with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Master's degree desirable
- Proven experience teaching Music from Key Stage 1
- Strong knowledge of music theory, performance, and music technology
- Demonstrated record of outstanding teaching and learning outcomes
- Creative, reflective, and solution-focused approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid enhanced DBS or equivalent police clearance Skills Set
