what you'll do
every time you come to work As an Night Auditor , you're not just ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's financial transactions
- you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Here's
what you'll do
during a typical day:
- Ensure accurate financial records: Balance and code the previous day’s transactions, preparing daily operating sales and labor summaries
- Verify payment accuracy: Ensure all credit card transactions align with daily reports.
- Verify and audit transactions: Review night audit reports, ensure sales journal accuracy, and analyze all adjustments
- Daily, a reconciliation of all revenue & settlement amounts per the POS, PMS, and other revenue sources is performed and recorded.
- Review All voids, discounts, and entertainment / duty F&B charges.
- Maintain recordkeeping: File and archive financial documents in compliance with tax authority requirements
