Your Day to Day:

Yoga Specialist cum Spa Therapist combines the art of yoga instruction with therapeutic treatments aimed at enhancing the well-being of our guests. You will lead yoga sessions, provide therapeutic treatments, and contribute to a holistic wellness experience, creating a relaxing and rejuvenating environment for guests.

Some of your main role responsibilities are:

1. Create safe training plans for guests, residents and members, conduct group exercise classes as required.
2. Liaise with the Spa Manager in setting up and running a time table of yoga and meditation classes.
3. Visually assess students to determine their level of practice.
4. Assist students to achieve precise alignment.
5. Demonstrate practice and techniques.
6. Possess the ability to move energy through the body. Transform energy during the warm-up, build-up and cool-down stages.
7. Motivate students with words of encouragement.
8. Connect with students during the yoga classes through fun, intelligent sequencing.
9. Offer training recommendations to improve the practice of yoga.
10. Perform different types of massages and wellness therapies as per current Spa offerings.
11. Communicate with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
12. Explain massages and treatments to guest and provide suitable recommendations as needed.
13. Enquire about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.
14. Suggest and promote retail products or additional services.
15. To keep daily record books and log all information such as accident reports, complaints, maintenance requirements and statistics.
16. Engage in Spa Receptionist and other administrative duties.
17. Follow all processes and procedures correctly and consistently.
18. Attend all spa staff meetings and training sessions as scheduled by the Spa Manager.
19. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
20. Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
21. Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

1. Qualified Yoga instructor in Yoga and Meditation class formats.
2. 1-2 years proven experience as a yoga instructor and/or therapist preferably in a hospitality or spa environment.
3. Result-oriented and self-motivated along with a positive attitude.
4. Excellent English communication other language preferred.
5. Basic computer knowledge.
6. A strong team player, enthusiastic and flexible.
7. Ability to work after-hours, on weekends and public holidays, as needed.
