Overview: We're looking for an experienced Director of Account Services to oversee the efficient and effective execution of complex, large-scale projects across various workstreams and markets. These projects may include live and digital event elements, requiring creative solutions and strategic thinking to deliver on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster strong, collaborative client relationships at senior levels, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate.
- Lead a team of account managers and producers to deliver outstanding event experiences and exceed client expectations.
- Manage financial performance across a portfolio of projects, ensuring profitability, tracking change orders, and minimizing risk.
- Oversee staffing, resourcing, and vendor management for projects.
- Guide event teams through project closeouts and reconciliations, capturing learnings and improvement opportunities.
- Support the development and education of cross-functional teams through mentoring and best-practice sharing.
- Ensure internal alignment and collaboration between departments, suppliers, and partners.
- Evaluate event production processes regularly and implement improvements where needed.
- Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and proactive problem-solving within your team.
Experience & Education:
- Minimum 10 years of B2B event production experience in an agency or fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Proven expertise delivering high-impact events including conferences, keynotes, breakouts, expos, and brand activations.
- Strong background in managing multimillion-dollar budgets and complex timelines.
- University degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or Hospitality.

Travel & Work Conditions:
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
Team Structure:
- Reports to the VP of Account Services.
- Works closely with internal departments, leadership, and external vendors.
- Manages a regional team of Account Managers and supports staffing decisions across project teams.
