PE Teacher | Job in Dubai Job Description Abu Dhabi’s long history Diyafah International School is a British curriculum institution. Primary Responsibilities: The PE Teacher will be required to deliver a well‑rounded and balanced curriculum in Physical Education across key stages. As part of the role, key responsibilities include planning, implementing, organizing fitness programs, team sports and health awareness programs, creating a fit sporting culture in school, and interacting with students daily as both a supervisor of fitness and all‑round motivation in indoor and outdoor environments. Curriculum Delivery: You will develop lesson plans based on IGCSE/British Curriculum standards that combine physical activity and academic outcomes. The teacher will emphasize discipline, teamwork, and good sportsmanship while assisting students in developing a healthy, active lifestyle, potentially to become lifelong healthy habits. You will also assist with the organization of inter‑house, inter‑school competitions, sports days, and other extracurricular activities. Student Development: In addition to physical training, you will emphasize student confidence, leadership qualities, and personal growth. This position involves identifying student needs and adapting instruction to meet those needs to provide an inclusive environment where each student can flourish, regardless of his or her athletic capability. Working with others & communication: You will work alongside other teachers, school leadership, and parents to support each student holistically. The role involves communication and time management responsibilities, and being able to work with a diverse group of faculty members. Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related discipline. Applicants with an overseas qualification, such as a PGCE, B.Ed or similar, will also be accepted. A minimum of two years’ experience within the British Curriculum is mandatory.
