They are currently looking to recruit an experienced global logistics manager to be based in their Dubai office who will be responsible for managing the logistics team across regions, as well as developing standards, manage budgets and manage and improve processes to succeed supply chain efficiency and sustainability.n Duties will include the following;

Cascade down into his organization the companys vision and strategies of his field area.

Propose on a yearly basis for Management review and approval a strategic roadmap with Stores main objectives, initiatives, optimization and action plan.

Assign responsibilities within the Logistic team as approved with his Management and as he sees fit to ensure the best possible delivery of his responsibilities.

Analyse the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes or carriers.

Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as Procurement, Tendering, Stores, RSFs or Project Management.

Create policies or procedures for logistics activities

Train Procurement & Logistics staff in AGNV IMS logistics procedures.

Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems and implement specific requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.

Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.

Candidates should have a degree in logistics management, supply chain or something similar but should have proven experience as a logistics and supply chain manager on a regional or global basis. Experience of the construction, marine or oil and gas sector is essential as is the ability to travel frequently.
