Head ButcherResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the work of butchers in cutting, trimming, packaging, and displaying meat productsTrain butchers on meat cutting techniques, food safety standards, and customer serviceEnsure the quality, freshness, and proper storage of all meat productsManage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain equipmentHandle customer inquiries, complaints, and special ordersMonitor and enforce health and safety regulations in the butchery departmentEnsure HACCP standards are implemented and follow the appropriate hygiene standards as per Municipality requirements at all timesConduct daily checks on the quality and freshness of productsMonitor all aspects pertaining to the control of the hotel's food costExperiencePrevious experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property requiredPre-opening experience is an advantageRequirementProven work experience as a Head ButcherActive listening and effective communication skillsFlexibility to work in shiftsStrong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
