Senior Piping Materials Engineer

Wood has been awarded a major project with ADNOC, and we are looking to hire a Senior Piping Materials Engineer to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Center. Responsibilities - Preparation of PMS (Piping Material Specification) for Process and Utility Services. - Preparation of Pipe wall thickness calculations based on internal and external pressure as per ASME B31.3. - Preparation of branch reinforcement calculations as per ASME B31.3. - Preparation of valve datasheets. - Preparation of specifications for all types of piping items including line pipes, flanges, fittings, valves, and specialty items. - Preparation of Material Requisitions (MR) for piping items. - Technical bid evaluation for piping items. - Review and approval of vendor drawings for valves and various piping specialty items. - Additional knowledge of jacketed piping. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. - Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. - Minimum 3 years in a Senior Engineer role. - Extensive onshore gas FEED project experience. - Middle East project experience is highly preferable.
