We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Dubai Office. The candidate will be required to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

- Perform the geotechnical design for coastal and marine projects.
- Liaison and coordination with other designers and internal disciplines.
- Attend meetings dedicated to design-related issues.
- Report to the Department Manager regarding work progress.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Mechanics, or Foundation Engineering with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. The position requires expertise in the following areas:

- Planning and specifying geotechnical investigations for marine and coastal projects.
- Performing liquefaction analysis and related geotechnical assessments.
- Preparing comprehensive Geotechnical Interpretative Reports (GIR).
- Designing foundations for marine structures including shallow and deep foundations.
- Conducting pile driveability analyses for feasibility and design optimization.
- Designing retaining walls such as sheet piles, secant piles, diaphragm walls, and blockwork walls.
- Performing stability analyses for breakwaters, seawalls, and revetment slopes.
- Developing ground improvement designs for reclamation and soil stabilization projects.
- Planning and interpreting instrumentation and monitoring data for ground improvement works.
- Experience in geotechnical software like PLAXIS 2D, Slope/W, Geo5, LPile, GROUP, Wallap, and GRLWEAP.
- Applying design codes such as Eurocodes, BS Codes, and AASHTO.

Additional Preferred Experience:

- Working on marine geotechnical projects in the Middle East.
- Familiarity with the region's geotechnical challenges including soil conditions and standards.
- Experience addressing geological hazards like cavities and rock falls.
- Interpretation of CPT and geophysical survey data.

Key Skills:

- Self-driven team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in technical report writing and documentation.
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.
- Agile and adaptable to meet tight deadlines.
