Are you passionate about nuclear safety and ready to take on the critical role of safeguarding health and safety against radiological hazards? We are seeking an experienced, qualified Senior Radiation Protection Technician to join the facilities in Abu Dhabi where your expertise will be pivotal.
This contract position offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise where it matters most.

Your Role:
– Monitor radiological activities ensuring continuous protection during routine and special operations.
– Conduct comprehensive surveys assessing all forms of radiation hazards effectively.
– Enforce rigorous Access Controls within various contamination levels maintaining impeccable safety standards.
– Execute decontamination procedures accurately while interpreting results to prevent further spread efficiently.
– Provide essential Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) selection guidance alongside issuing proper respiratory equipment.

The ideal candidate is someone who:
– Has 3 years or more related experience including time spent at nuclear power plants or has participated minimally in 2 refueling outages; alternatively, completion of relevant training programs coupled with year-long plant exposure may suffice.
– Demonstrates effective communication: articulate complex concepts clearly; fluency in English is crucial.
– Adapts swiftly to changing conditions demonstrating problem-solving prowess when needed.
