Senior Application Support Engineer

Job Description: Client Introduction: In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with one of our esteemed clients. Job Purpose: Provide expert-level support by executing advanced troubleshooting and collaborating with cross-functional teams, to implement impactful solutions, optimizing application support, and ensuring system stability with minimal downtime for end-users. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field. - Certifications in Azure, AWS (Amazon Web Services) are preferred. - Certifications in Sitecore next js, Microsoft CRM D365, and Software AG preferred. - In-depth knowledge of databases, application architecture, troubleshooting methodologies, and performance optimization. - In-depth knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools. - 6 - 8 years experience in the Securities / Stock Exchange or another financial institution. - Proficient with Agile methodology, continuous integration, and continuous development pipelines. - Previous experience with configuring and running CI/CD pipeline management and release management preferred. - Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess near- and long-term Enterprise Integration Platform needs. - Create and maintain documentation as it relates to Enterprise Integration Platform configuration, deployment, custom resources etc. - Deploying Software AG releases across all environments (On-Cloud). - Monitoring the performance of APIs. - Developing Software AG resources including web services, restful APIs, SOAP APIs, Software AG adapters, custom adapters, APIs protocol transformations, Messaging queue (AMQ, JMS, and Kafka). - Working on file based protocol (SFTP, FTP). - Experience in Web Methods (Software AG) Developer/Integration with JDBC adapter and MX (message XML) and MT (message type) experience. - Experience in Web Services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL preferred). - Experience in Swift ISO 20022/15022, Swift Translator tool (preferred). - Experience in API Gateway Management for SOAP, REST services, and WebSocket (preferred). - Experience in BPM and Nasdaq or any other financial platform with integrations preferred. - Experience in cloud (Azure preferred) mainly in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience in Core JAVA programming language is a must. - Experience with stored procedures is a plus. - Proficient in understanding and supporting Document management systems preferably OpenText DMS. - Proficient in Front End and Back End website support - Sitecore Next JS technologies is a plus as well as Java based applications. - Good understanding of mobile app support and proficient with React Native for Android and iPhone preferred. - Previous experience with any software integration applications support. - Proficient in scripting and automation tools. - Expertise in development (micro service implementation) and administration activities (Helm chart, server configuration, etc.) in JD. - Ability to work in a diverse team with multiple cultures and technical skill sets. - Ability to proactively find solutions to problems. - Familiarity with programming languages is an advantage.
