The role involves loading and unloading goods from trucks, containers, or pallets and ensuring the proper handling and movement of products within the facility. Key responsibilities: - Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles, trucks, and containers. - Move stock manually or using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified). - Verify items received or shipped against documentation (packing lists/invoices). - Ensure goods are handled safely to prevent damage. - Stack and organize goods in storage areas or on pallets correctly. - Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing items. - Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines. - Keep loading/unloading areas clean and free of hazards. - Report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the supervisor. Requirements: - Previous experience as a loader, unloader, or in a warehouse/logistics environment is preferred. - Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg). - Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to detail and basic reading/writing skills for record-keeping. - Team player with a positive attitude. - Forklift license (desirable, but not required). Working conditions: - Warehouse or dockyard environment - May involve early morning, evening, or night shifts - May include weekend or holiday work - Exposure to varying weather conditions (if loading/unloading outdoors) Apply Now
