About The Opportunity

Role Summary/overview

- Lead and manage a team of 15-20 grocery store supervisors across a geographical area.
- Supervise performance of in-store grocery order fulfillment process - pick, pack and handover to riders.
- Ensure strict adherence to food handling and packing SOPs.
- Ensure best-in-class operational metrics - order preparation time, picker utilization, item replacement compliance, and item out of stock etc. while ensuring customer experience is not compromised.
- Develop store specific processes/workflows where required to ensure efficient store operations.
- Handle real-time coordination with customer care and rider teams to ensure orders are dispatched on time and resolve customer complaints, if any.
- Work closely with 3PLs - picker recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Manage rostering of pickers and store supervisors to ensure shift coverage and efficient operations.
- Manage performance, coach, and train store supervisors.

What did we order

- 5-7 years previous job experience in order fulfillment and management of pickers.
- 2-3 years&apos experience of order fulfillment operations in grocery stores.
- Data driven decision making- Is comfortable with Excel/Google sheet and dashboards.
- Basic food handling experience.
- Has managed a large team of pickers before.
- Well organized, able to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Open minded; continually seeks to find new and creative ways to accomplish tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
