Key Responsibilities:

1. Lighting Design Review and Coordination:

- Review and validate lighting design and plans to ensure accuracy, aesthetic alignment with the project vision, and compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and MEP engineers to integrate lighting systems seamlessly into the overall design, identifying any conflicts or design challenges.
- Ensure that lighting designs meet both the functional and aesthetic requirements of the project, considering factors such as illumination levels, energy efficiency, and safety.

- Preparation and Development of Technical Drawings:

- Develop detailed lighting drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, BIM or other design software, including layout plans, lighting fixture details, circuiting, and control system schematics.
- Produce and revise electrical and lighting schedules, specifying equipment, fittings, and accessories as per project specifications.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in lighting design, including innovations in energy-saving technologies, smart lighting solutions, and sustainable materials.

- Collaboration and Communication:

- Coordinate with other design teams (architectural, structural, MEP) to ensure the lighting systems align with overall project timelines and requirements.

- Documentation and Reporting:

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of all lighting design documentation, including design reports, sketches, approvals, and revisions.

Technical Expertise:

- Proficiency in lighting design and drafting software (AutoCAD, Dialux, AGi32, etc.).
- Strong understanding of lighting systems, including both indoor and outdoor lighting, control systems, and their integration with other building systems.
- Knowledge of relevant local codes and regulations (e.g., UAE building standards, energy efficiency codes, and sustainability certifications).
