Procurement Manager – Fresh Fruits

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage the company's purchasing strategy to ensure best quality and prices. - Source and negotiate with suppliers locally and internationally. - Maintain and expand a strong network of growers, traders, and wholesalers. - Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. - Forecast demand and manage inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking. - Analyze market trends, prices, and competitor sourcing strategies. - Coordinate with the sales department to align purchasing with sales forecasts. Requirements: - Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables in the UAE market. - Strong network of local and international suppliers. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract management skills. - Knowledge of UAE food import regulations and customs procedures. - Valid UAE driving license. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
