UX/UI Designer at Sephora

As a UX/UI Designer, you will lead digital design to enhance user experience with creative solutions, teamwork, and ongoing learning in an empowering environment.

Position Purpose:

The UX/UI designer will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for all our digital platforms. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Investigate and gather user experience design requirements across all digital touchpoints.
2. Collaborate with product team to define and prioritize user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
3. Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy that aligns with the brand's vision and business objectives.
4. Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
5. Design and maintain scalable design systems and style guides to ensure brand and design consistency.
6. Continuously test and refine design elements.
7. Collaborate with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
8. Provide expertise in user research methodologies, usability testing, and behavioral analysis to guide design decisions.

Skills, Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

1. A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
2. A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
3. Working knowledge of technologies and software: Sketch, In Vision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
4. Experience with conducting usability testing, user research, and synthesizing insights.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Multi-tasking and time-management skills.
