Job Description We are seeking a Senior Research & Development Specialist with proven expertise in beauty care product development. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, leading formulation strategies, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and sustainability. The successful candidate will be a thought leader who thrives at the intersection of science, creativity, and market insight. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, formulation, and optimization of cutting-edge beauty care products. - Evaluate and integrate novel raw materials, bioactive compounds, and sustainable technologies. - Oversee laboratory testing, including stability, efficacy, and dermatological safety assessments. - Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, regulatory, manufacturing) to translate concepts into commercially successful products. - Monitor global beauty trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory landscapes to inform innovation pipelines. - Prepare technical documentation, research reports, and intellectual property filings. - Mentor junior scientists and contribute to building a culture of excellence in R&D. Qualifications - Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline. - Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D within the beauty or personal care industry. - Demonstrated expertise in cosmetic formulation, ingredient innovation, and regulatory compliance. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in laboratory methodologies and instrumentation. - Creative problem-solving ability with a track record of successful product launches. - Exceptional communication skills and collaborative mindset.
