About the Role MAPA Group is seeking a highly qualified Contract Manager to be assigned to our Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall Metro Station Expansion in Dubai. The role involves managing all contractual, commercial, and claims-related aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring full compliance with contract conditions, local authority requirements, and project objectives. Key Responsibilities - Manage and administer all contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle - Ensure effective implementation and interpretation of FIDIC-based contracts - Handle claims, variations, extensions of time (EOT), and contractual correspondence - Prepare, review, and negotiate contract-related documents, notices, and submissions - Coordinate closely with project management, planning, cost control, and legal teams - Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on contractual and commercial issues - Monitor contractual risks, identify potential disputes, and develop mitigation strategies - Support dispute resolution processes, including claims negotiations and settlements - Ensure proper contract documentation, records, and reporting are maintained Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering - Minimum 10 years of professional experience, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects - Proven experience in metro, railway, road, or major infrastructure projects - Gulf region experience is mandatory, preferably in the UAE - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FIDIC-based contracts - Experience in managing claims, variations, extensions of time (EOT), and contractual correspondence - Background working with public authorities and large clients (RTA experience is an advantage) - Strong Quantity Surveying background is highly preferred - Familiarity with UAE contractual and commercial practices - Good command of English (written and spoken) - Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
