Key Responsibilities
Overhaul diesel engines in the workshop and field adhering to manufacturer standardsConduct diagnostic tests analyze results and identify technical faults through electronic service toolsPromote service sales by identifying opportunities to upsell spare parts maintenance services and other service packages to clientsPerform preventive maintenance pre-delivery inspections load bank testing and engine diagnosticsAttend designated product training and apply the acquired technical knowledgeFollow safe working practices and comply with company policies and proceduresSubmit daily activity reports through field service reports and internal workshop timesheetsMaintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the workshop tools and service vehicleQualifications & RequirementsBachelors/Diploma in technical qualification or a related fieldMin 8 Years of hands-on experience in diesel engine overhauling, preferably with Perkins engines, any certification form Perkins shall be preferableStrong technical skills in engine servicing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance for both mechanical and electrical workAbility to identify service sales and upselling opportunities with customersGood written and verbal English communication skillsAbility to handle repair jobs individually both mechanical and electricalsMust be honest, reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently in workshop and field environmentsValid UAE driving license is mandatory
