2. Experience in work/support drilling completion workover (incl. ESP replacement) operations as an engineer.
3. Experience in tender contract coordinating, monitoring, negotiation, and technical evaluation as a Contract Administrator.
4. Should have experience in tendering, procurement planning, related document preparation, evaluation for Market Survey, Contract negotiation, etc.
Tender Management:
1. Lead and coordinate the preparation, submission, and evaluation of tenders for drilling contracts ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
2. Review tender documentation ensuring all necessary information including technical, commercial, and financial data is included.
3. Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to gather relevant information, cost estimates, and technical inputs required for tender submissions.
4. Prepare detailed and accurate bid packages ensuring that all submission deadlines are met.
5. Identify tendering risks and propose solutions to mitigate them ensuring maximum competitiveness while safeguarding company interests.
Contract Management:
1. Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts related to drilling operations including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
2. Ensure all contractual terms meet legal, commercial, and operational requirements and protect the company's interests.
3. Monitor the execution of contracts ensuring compliance with agreed timelines, budgets, and performance standards.
4. Proactively manage amendments, variations, and extensions to contracts as required.
5. Collaborate with legal, technical, and project teams to address any contractual disputes, claims, or issues that arise during contract execution.
6. Identify and assess potential risks in both tendering and contracting phases including legal, operational, and financial risks.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant UAE laws, industry regulations, and health and safety standards particularly those specific to drilling operations.
8. Advise management on risk mitigation strategies and implement safeguards in contractual terms and tender proposals.
9. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contractual obligations and enforce compliance across various projects.
10. Act as the main point of contact between internal teams (operations, legal, finance, etc.) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors, subcontractors).
11. Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure alignment of expectations and smooth project execution.
12. Assist in resolving disputes or issues between parties involved in tendering or contract management processes.
13. Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for tender submissions based on project scope and technical requirements.
14. Monitor the financial performance of contracts and ensure that costs are controlled, invoicing is accurate, and payments are received on time.
15. Track the financial aspects of contracts including variations, claims, and potential cost overruns to ensure they remain within budget.
