Director @ Influx Search | Global Executive Headhunter for the Flow Control & Rotating Equipment Space We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Director to lead commercial growth across the Middle East. This leadership role is ideal for a senior sales professional with deep technical knowledge, a strong network in key regional industries, and a passion for driving strategic expansion. The position involves overseeing sales operations, shaping market strategy, and representing the company at the highest levels within oil & gas, power, petrochemicals, water, and process industries. As the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy across multiple Middle Eastern markets. This includes leading regional teams, engaging directly with major EPCs and end users, managing large-scale tender processes, and driving long-term business growth. You will act as the primary regional representative for all commercial matters, ensuring strong alignment between customers, partners, and internal global teams. Strategic & Commercial Leadership Build and implement multi-year sales strategies designed to expand market share and increase profitability Set regional sales targets and lead the team in consistently achieving or exceeding them Assess emerging market trends and competitive positioning to guide business decisions Manage regional budgeting, performance reporting, and sales forecasting Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision makers in EPC firms, end users, consultants, and government entities Identify high-potential customers and develop key account plans to maximize engagement Oversee major proposal submissions, tender development, and commercial negotiations for large-scale projects Strengthen the company's presence at industry events, exhibitions, and technical conferences Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team across multiple countries Coordinate with engineering, service, operations, and product management teams to ensure successful project execution Support and manage channel partners, agents, and distributors to expand regional market coverage Operational Excellence Ensure compliance with internal policies, commercial standards, and regional regulations Provide continuous market feedback to product development teams Support service teams in developing long-term service contracts and aftermarket growth opportunities Maintain accurate CRM data, sales pipelines, and project tracking Qualified & Experienced 10+ years of progressive experience in sales/business development within industrial pumps, rotating equipment, fluid-handling systems, or other heavy industrial capital equipment Extensive exposure to major Middle Eastern markets, with established relationships in oil & gas, power, water, and petrochemical sectors Demonstrated success leading regional sales teams and managing multimillion-dollar projects Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Ability to travel extensively across GCC and broader MENA regions Strategic and analytical thinking Strong technical aptitude Leadership and team development Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced markets If you think this role could be for you, or know someone who might be interested, please get in touch #J-18808-Ljbffr
