Role Overview :

The Procurement Officer will manage and oversee the purchasing process for all civil construction-related materials and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement within the civil construction field, strong negotiation skills, and a keen understanding of market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to civil construction projects.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality materials and services at competitive prices.
- Maintain an extensive database of suppliers and manage relationships to ensure consistent supply and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers to determine project material needs and specifications.
- Conduct market research on industry trends and pricing to inform procurement decisions.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Prepare and maintain procurement reports for management review.

Key Requirements :

- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
