- Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on project requirements and design specifications. Team Supervision:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to draughtsman, overseeing their work quality and adherence to standards. Quality Assurance:
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings. Software Proficiency:
- Utilize CAD software proficiently, implementing best practices and innovative techniques to improve efficiency. Documentation:
- Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes. Primary Deliverables:
- Precise and On Time submission of any type of documents/reports/data.
- Complete tasks efficiently and stay within budget as part of your job responsibilities Secondary Deliverables:
- Provide input to other departments or parties as needed on time. DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using CAD software.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to draftsmen, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Review and ensure accuracy and compliance of drawings with design standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
- Stay updated on CAD software advancements and implement best practices for improved efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes.
SKILLS:
- CAD software proficiency, technical drawing, design interpretation.
- Quality assurance, mentorship, project coordination.
- Communication, teamwork, problem-solving, attention to detail. KNOWLEDGE &
EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in CAD drafting or a related role within the construction or fit-out industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
